But now the AAP government Chief Minister of Punjab, Mr Bhagwant Mann Sarkar, also made the promise at the time of the election to provide such financial security by their own government. So they announced such a scheme “ Mukh Mantri Mawan Dheeyan Satkar Yojana” on the occasion of International Women day i.e. 8^th March.

By announcing this scheme, the government aims to provide the monthly financial assistance to all women who are 18 years or above. This monthly financial assistance is also known as the Monthly Stipend of Rs. 1K to Rs.1.5K. The amount is given as per the category of the women, in which Rs. 1 K is given to the women who are in the General Category, and the SC category will receive Rs. 1,500.

They can spend such an amount for their daily needs, and the women who are already getting any kind of social security pension are also eligible for this monthly stipend.

Punjab Monthly Stipend Scheme Financial Benefits

The financial benefits given in this scheme are from Rs. 1,000 to Rs. 1,500. It means every woman will not get the financial security from the side of the government, and they are no longer dependent on other family members. And no matter how many women from one families fit to be eligible for this scheme. Every eligible woman from each of the family will get such benefits.

Every general Category woman who turns age 18 years or above will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 1,000, which means a total of Rs. 12,000 per year. On the other hand, women belonging to the Schedule Caste will get Rs. 1,500 per month, and in one year, they all received Rs. 18,000 in their accounts. Amount is also credited in their accounts through Direct Transfer in the Bank accounts of beneficiaries.

Every woman of the Punjab state who is 18 years or above of this age will be eligible for this scheme.

• Widow Pension Scheme
• Destitute Women’s Pension Scheme
• Disability Pension Scheme
