The Punjab government started Mukh Mantri Mawan Dheeyan Satkar Yojana, 1st phase on 15th April. In the first phase, this scheme was started in the 9 assembly constituencies only. From the 15th of May, this scheme will start in the remaining 108 constituencies. Under this scheme, Women of the SC Category get Rs 1500, and the remaining category, like OBC, General women get Rs 1000 per month.

All the eligible applicants can submit their application form at their Anaganwadi centres. Initially, this scheme was introduced on the 8th of March 2026, on International Women’s Day, under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. Eligibility Criteria for the Scheme

  • Applicant’s age should be at least 18 years or above, and she should be a permanent resident of Punjab.
  • The applicant woman required a Voter Card of Punjab.
  • Applicant woman should have a valid Aadhaar and a voter ID card.
  • To take advantage of this scheme, both married and unmarried women are eligible.
  • Women who are already taking a Widow, Old Age or Disability pension are also eligible for this scheme.
  • State and central government employee eligible for this scheme.
  • Taxpayers are not eligible for this scheme.
  • Former and serving MPs/MLAs and their Spouses are not eligible.

Registration Process For Mawan Dheeyan Satkar Yojana

Registration is only held through the Anganwadi Centre in Punjab. Eligible applicants can visit their nearest Anganwadi Centre and fill out the application form with all basic details. The application form is also submitted to Anganwadi Centres.

If you didn’t get Mukh Mantri Mawan Dheeyan Satkar Yojana Payment of Rs 1000 and Rs 1500, then these are the common mistakes and reasons. According to the Punjab Government, the 1st payment will start from 1st July 2026. Till then, you have to wait for the official announcement. After July, if payment is not received, then there are the common reasons:-

  • Incomplete Registration: The main and most common reason for not receiving payments is that your registration is incomplete. Whenever you go for registration, submit your application form to the concerned authority.
  • Details Mismatched: In case your Application form details like Name, DOB, Address, etc. are mismatched with Aadhaar, then it will be the main cause of Payment failure.
  • Aadhaar Number Enter is Incorrect: In case you enter the Wrong Aadhaar Number or a mismatched Aadhaar digit, then it may be chances that the payment will fail.

Solution if Payment is not Received under Mukh Mantri Mawan Dheeyan Satkar Yojana

According to AAP Leader Manish Sisodia, benefits will start being provided in July 2026. You have to wait for the month of July before taking any action. After July, if you do not get the benefit of this scheme, then you can do these Steps:

  • Verify your Registration: If you didn’t receive the financial support of this scheme, confirm your registration from the nearest Anganwadi Centre or Sewa Kendras. In that place, you can check your application is accepted or rejected. You can ask them to confirm the registration status. Before doing anything, make sure that your Aadhaar is linked with your bank account and your DBT is enabled.
  • Aadhaar Linked with Bank Account: For receiving the benefit of the scheme, DBT is required for Aadhaar and NPCI mapping. Without the completion of this process, you are not able to receive the payment. To complete this process, visit your nearest bank branch with your Aadhaar and passbook. Then fill the application form for Aadhaar seeding. Once this process is completed, check your bank account after 7 days.
  • Applicant having multiple accounts: If any applicant has multiple accounts and does wrong DBT with the wrong account. Your Aadhaar will be linked only to 1 account at a time for DBT. If you opened a new bank account recently and it is linked to your old account, there will be a chance of payment failure. Visit your nearest bank branch to confirm.
  • KYC not completed: The other reason for rejection is that your KYC is not completed. To complete that, visit your nearest bank branch and ask them to do the KYC process.
  • Cast certificate issue: This issue will come for the schedule cast category members who applied for this scheme. At the time of registration, you have to provide the latest and updated cast certificate. In case your cast certificate is outdated, then maybe chances of payment being pending.
  • Visit your nearest Anganwadi Kendra: You can visit your nearest Anganwadi Kendra where you completed your registration. Show them your registration or acknowledgement slip, Aadhaar Card, Bank Passbook and Voter ID. Ask them to check the status of their application. In case your application is pending or rejected, then you can ask them for the exact reason.
