MMMDSY (Mukh Mantri Mawan Dheeyan Satkar Yojana) was already started in the 9 assembly constituencies as a pilot project. This is the scheme in which women of Punjab will get 1000 rupees if they belong to the general or OBC category. Women of the Scheduled Cast (SC) Community will get 1500 rupees monthly as a social security in the scheme. On the occasion of the announcement, CM distributed registration certificates to several eligible beneficiaries. Initially, only nine assembly constituencies are open for registration, and the remaining 108 constituencies will be scheduled to start on the 15th of May 2026. This is a very big scheme, and for the successful implementation of the scheme, the government allotted a budget of 9300 crore rupees.
MMMDSY (Mukh Mantri Mawan Dheeyan Satkar Yojana)
MMMDSY was announced at the time of the Punjab budget 2026-27. Official notification was also released on the 2nd of April 2026. Eligible woman do their registration through the anganwadi centres. Right now, the state government has only opened the registration process for Mukh Mantri Mawan Dheeyan Satkar Yojana through anganwadi centres.

Other than that, there is no option available right now. In this scheme, financial assistance of 1500 rupees will be given only to the women who belong to schedule cast category, and the remaining women will get 1000 rupees monthly. If your age is above 18 and you are a permanent resident of Punjab and not a taxpayer, you can register for this. There are certain categories of women who are excluded from this scheme, which we have mentioned in the non-eligible.
MMMDSY Registration Fee
There is no registration fee for MMMDSY. The Government of Punjab do the registration through Anganwadi centres. They will give 100 rupees for one registration. So the applicant does not have to pay a single rupee for their registration.
Eligibility Criteria
- Permanent residents of Punjab, women are eligible for this scheme.
- This scheme is only for women. Males are not eligible to apply for the scheme.
- Applicant age should be 18 years or above for registration.
Non Eligable
- Regular Government employees, retired employee punjab government or Central government or any other state employees are not eligible.
- Individual taxpayers are also not eligible for this scheme.
- Serving or former ministers, members of Parliament or members of the legislative assembly are not eligible.
- Spouses of serving ministers, members of parliament or members of the legislative assembly are also not eligible.

MMMDSY Registration Steps
- Registration for MMMDSY (Mukh Mantri Mawan Dheeyan Satkar Yojana) has already started in 9 assembly constituencies. This is the 1st phase of this scheme, in which it is launched as a pilot project.
- The registration of all the eligible applicants will be done through the Anganwadi Centres and Sewa Kendras. These are the primary registration centres for this scheme.
- In phase 2, the remaining 108 constituencies will be covered, and registration in the remaining constituencies will start on the 15th of May 2026.
- Now, there is no information available regarding the online registration process, and no application forms are accepted online.
Financial Support Distribution Process
- The financial support amount will be released to the beneficiary bank account time to time set by the high-level implementation Community.
- This amount will be transferred directly into the beneficiary bank account, which is linked with their Aadhaar Number through the direct benefit transfer (DBT) method.

MMMDSY Phase 1 and Phase 2
Phase 1 of this scheme has already started in the 9 assembly constituencies from the 15th of April. These nine constituencies are Moga, Patiala Rural, Dirba, Sri Muktsar Sahib, Kotkapura, Batala, Sunam, Malot and Adampur.
Phase 2 of this scheme will start from the 15th of May, and in this phase, registration will start from 108 constituencies. So if your area does not come in the 1st phase, then you have to wait for the second phase. In this phase, registration will be held through the Anganwadi centres. You have to visit your nearby Anganwadi centres for registration.
Features of Scheme
- The main feature of this scheme is that it will cover 97% woman of Punjab.
- In this scheme, there is no income limit set by the state government to become a beneficiary. If you are a Taxpayer, then you are not eligible.
- If there are multiple women in one house above 18 and all of them fulfil the eligibility criteria, then all will get the benefit of the scheme.
- Registration will start from 15th April, and for Phase 2, it will start from 15th May, but the benefit of this scheme will be given from the 1st of July.
- The financial support will be delivered directly into the beneficiary bank account via DBT.
- Household Womens who do not have any other income Source can get the benefit of this scheme.
- This will help women to become financially independent.
- Rs 1.3 Crore will be covered in this scheme.
Mukh Mantri Mawan Dheeyan Satkar Yojana Application Form
The Mukh Mantri Mawan Dheeyan Satkar Yojana Application Form is available in the contitunies form 15th May 2026. Right now, this form is only available in the Anganwadi centres of selected constituencies. Officially, the scheme was started on 15th April, and after 1 month, this scheme will be started all over Punjab. Special Camps are organised, and volunteers also visit door to door for the successful implementation.

When the Chief Minister of Punjab announced this scheme, they clarified that there is no deadline for registration. If any beneficially registered late for the scheme, then it will not affect their payment.
