Government of Punjab started the health insurance scheme with the name of Punjab Mukh Mantri Sehat Yojana, also known as the Punjab Govt 10 Lakh Health Card Scheme. This scheme provides the Cashless treatment on medical emergency upto Rs.10 Lakhs for each family in the Punjab State. This scheme is also the Universal Health Insurance Scheme. To Provide the Free or Cashless medical treatment, the state government of Punjab launched the Punjab Mukh Mantri Sehat Yojana. From the state of Punjab More than 3 Crore people are going to get the benefits of this scheme, and the registration link is already active.
To complete the Registration for the family, at least two family members will have to be present at that time, and they can add the rest of the family name in the same card. It is also important to know that before going for registration, you need to get a registration appointment for the same. This scheme is linked with the United India Insurance Company.

Features of the Punjab 10 Lakhs Health Insurance Scheme
- Universal Coverage of Scheme: This scheme is working with the Universal Coverage health insurance scheme. There is no specific income limit for the scheme.
- Cashless Treatment: After getting the Health Insurance Card, beneficiaries can get the Cashless Treatment benefits upto Rs.10 Lakhs from any government or private Empanelled Hospitals of the state.
- Treatment Covered: In this scheme, Major Surgery, ICU Treatment and medicine are also covered and apart from it, more than 2,300 medical package available under this scheme.
- Hospital List: Government empanelled a total of 850 Government and private hospitals of Punjab and Chandigarh, including Chandigarh PGI, Fortis and Max hospital.
Eligibility Criteria
- State Residency:- Any Citizen who is residing in the state of Punjab with his family will be eligible for this insurance scheme.
- Age Limit: The registration can be completed by a person who is above 18 years, and the rest of the people can join with the same person. It means the parent of the head of the family will have to register with this scheme.
- Government Employee: All people who work in the Government Department, Society, or Trust as Out source employee will also be eligible.
- Pension and employee: All the pensioners and regular employees of the Punjab state are also going to receive the benefits under this scheme.
- Income Criteria: Every income group will get benefits.

SHA Punjab Govt 10 Lakh Health Card Apply Online
To register the beneficiaries from the state of Punjab government, instruct the Youth Club and Youth Wing of the AAP Party for the same. They are going to distribute the registration appointment letter at the Ward and village levels after visiting the houses of the people. And then, according to their appointment receipt, they have to visit the Common Service Centre and then have to complete the Registration.
At the time of registration, kindly have two family members from each family present in the same Common Service Centre, and the rest of the family members’ names will be added in Punjab 10 Lakhs Health Card. After the competition of the registration, the health Card will be issued in the name of the beneficiaries.
Apart from it, you can also apply through the official portal of the scheme and also offline with the Special Camps organised by the Government in the different villages of the state.
