In the State of Punjab, a new Government Street Light Scheme is going to be started from June 2026. The name of this scheme is Mukhya Mantri Roshan Punjab Yojana 2026. This scheme is going to provide 3 Lakhs Free Solar Lights to 13 Thousands villages of the Punjab state.

The government also decided the budget for this scheme of 550 Crore Rupees. Recently, the State government of Punjab, to provide security and development of the Villages of the state, launched the new scheme, which is called ‘Mukhya Mantri Roshan Punjab Yojana’.
