The Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board of Punjab state started a new financial Assistance scheme for all registered construction workers of the Punjab state. The scheme is introduced with the name of the Tool Kit Scheme, Punjab. Under this scheme, every Registered worker will get the financial assistance of Rs. 5,000.

With the help of this amount, they can buy their work-related tool kits. In this scheme, all the registered workers who have already completed their skills training with the board and contribute their work regularly in the state will be able to apply for this scheme and get financial help from the BOCW Welfare Board of Punjab, so that they all can buy the Tool Kits for themselves.

Punjab Tool Kits Scheme Requirement

  • You are registered with the BOCW Welfare Board as construction workers.
  • Also, complete your skill training or RPL Training.
  • Workers contribute to the regular mode. 

NOTE: Without Training You are not eligible to get this kit and if you eligible then get this kit once in three year.

Eligibility Criteria

  • All the permanent citizens of the Punjab state.
  • Applicant must be a construction worker.
  • Age must be between 18 years and 60 years.
  • You must work a regular 90 days in one year.
  • The annual income of the applicant is not more than Rs. 15,000 per month.
  • You are not income Tax Payer.

Financial Assistance Scheme For construction workers To Buy a Tool Kit

  • The financial assistance under this scheme will be given after purchasing of Tools, and you need to submit the bill for the same.
  • First-time financial help from the scheme will be given only to those candidates who complete their training with the board.
  • After getting the first financial help from the board, they will be able to get this help again after every three years.

Punjab Tool Kit Scheme Financial Assistance and Payment Method

The amount up to Rs. 5,000 is given to registered workers after receiving their application. The committee forwarded the same to the concerned officials, and after checking their eligibility and documents Officials approved the amount, and the payment will be released by the board into the account of the beneficiary through RTGS.
