Punjab Women 1000 Rs Scheme Rules and Regulations
The Punjab government set some rules and regulations to avail the benefits of this scheme. The complete information about the rules is mentioned below:-
Residency: A woman having a permanent address proof of the state and having a domicile of Punjab only gets the benefit of the scheme. A valid domicile certificate or residence proof issued by a government Authority is required when you go for registration.
Age requirement: A woman who is 18 years or older is eligible for this scheme. Individuals below 18 years are not qualified, and the age will be verified with the girl’s ID proof, like an Aadhaar card, a Voter card or a birth certificate.
Category-wise benefit: Scheduled Caste women get 1500 rupees monthly financial support under the scheme, and the remaining categories of women get 1000 rupees. So the schedule cast category women have to submit the SC certificate at the time of registration. Other categories do not have to submit any type of certificate.
A bank account is mandatorily linked with Aadhaar: If you are a beneficiary, then a bank account is necessary. Bank details are required at the time of registration. If you do not have an active bank account, then we advise you to open a new bank account at your nearest bank branch. The other important thing is that your bank account should be linked with the Aadhaar, and your Aadhaar should be linked with your mobile number, so it is easy to authenticate.
The scheme is compatible with other social Security pension schemes: This scheme is compatible with the social Security pension schemes like the widow’s pension, the old age pension and disability pension. If you get any type of pension already, then you are also eligible for this scheme.
One Registration Per Woman: An eligible woman can register themselves for the scheme only one time. Multiple or duplicate registrations using different numbers or bank accounts will be easily identified and cancelled by the official Authority. In case you are doing any type of fraud, then legal action will be taken against the fraudulent person. The government will use an Aadhaar-based authentication system; there is a very small chance of multiple registrations by a single person.
