A big announcement was made by CM Bhagwan Mann on 5th April that they are going to divide the land of families within 30 days under the new scheme, i.e. Punjab Takseem Scheme. Objective of 30 Days Partition Scheme

Usually, we can see such Takseem Cases or so many disputes over the ancestral land. So now the government is trying to provide the hassle free division of the family land. Government promising the people of the state that they will get the partition of the land within 30 days. And this new Takseem Scheme will begin to start providing the benefits from 13 April. With the help of this scheme, the government ensure to take the land within 30 days. All people who want to participate in this scheme will need to come with a mutual understanding that they will come with their paperwork.

Or if both side are not agree mutually, then they have to bring the order of the courts, and then in this scheme government process will proceed accordingly. But while announcing this scheme, Mann Sir said that if you want to live peacefully, then both parties will have to come with mutual consent, and partition can be done.

Implimentation Date of Scheme

This scheme is implimented by the state government of Punjab with Revenue Department of the state. Scheme is implimented from the same date of the announcement i.e. from 13th April 2026. Now all the legal cases or Disputed cases which are pending with the department with the above said causes, now will be resolve within 30 days from the date of apply in very smooth manner. It will also going to help the governemnt to reduce the corruption.

Features of Scheme

  • Time Bond: This scheme mainly works on its time bond, which means that the land will be partitioned within 30 days from the date of filling the application form.
  • Official Launch Date: This scheme is going to start from 13 April, which is the occasion of the Baisakhi Festival.
  • Consent of Parties: if the mutual consent of the parties is made, then work will be done in a very smooth way and faster, but in case the parties do not agree, then they have to submit their Court Order.

  • An applicant who has land and wants to partition with the other partner of their land.
  • The families who have ancestral property and are still not partitioning their shares over the same property.

How the Takseem Scheme or 30 Days Partition Scheme Works?

  • In Mutual Consent: in this scheme, if all the members mutually agree on Partition over the family land, then the same case can be easily resolved within 30 days from the date of application. They just have to submit the application to the Tehsil Office with the help of the Patwari, and then the process will start. After it, the officials, i.e. Tehsildar and Patwari, will visit the applicant’s house and then complete the rest of the formalities. Then, after completing all the formalities and taking the signatures of all the members of the partition, the process will be faster and completed within the same duration.
  • In Dispute Cases: On the other hand, if the parties who are not agreed for the partition of the land and have a court case, then they have to get the order of the court and then submit to the same authority. And then the process will start.
