To Provide the Free religious Travel to the people of the Punjab state who are 50 or above, the Punjab Government announced the scheme, which is called the Punjab Mukh Mantri Tirth Yatra scheme 2026. With the help of this scheme, government provide the free travel to all the major religious places all over India. For this scheme, only the Senior citizen of the state will be eligible which turn 50 or above.

In this scheme, all the costs like Travel Cost from Train or Buses, Accommodation, Food and Security will be covered in this scheme. How to apply for the Punjab Mukh Mantri Tirth Yatra scheme?

• You can complete the registration for this scheme through its official portal i.e. Connect Punjab Portal.
• Then, on the portal, you need to complete the registration process and then log in to the account.
• When you log in to the account, here you have to select the services of the scheme i.e. Punjab Mukh Mantri Tirth Yatra scheme.
• After clicking on the link, the form opens, which you need to fill with upload documents.
• After successfully submitting the form, beneficiaries who are selected for the scheme will be informed by the government with the date and time of their visit via SMS.

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicant Must be a permanent residents of the state of Punjab.
• While registering for this scheme, age of the travelers must be 50 years or above.
• Complete the registration with official portal and also select the Train or bus.
• After apply for this scheme, the selection of the beneficiaries will be done Via Open Draw.

• Punjab Residence Proof: need to submit the residential proof of the Punjab state like Aadhar Card, Ration card or Punjab Voter ID Card.

• Registered Offline: If you wants to complete the registration through offline mode, then you can get the application form through the DC Office of your District. Then with the above said documents, submit it.
• Verification: Then the verifications also be completed by the government and through draw system, the selection of the beneficiaries will be made through their form and documents.
